Should i tip over drinks&food, even if the drinks are hugely overpriced?
Tipping a bartender a buck or two each drink is fine. But the server has to tip out usually three percent of his total sales at the end of the night. So if you buy a 300 dollar bottle of wine, and only tip me five dollars on it...I actually have to pay ten dollars to the restaurant on the end of the night. So, in essence, I just paid five dollars out of my pocket for your wine. For good service, you tip 20% of the total bill. Minimum. If you dont...trust me, we'll remember your face, and your service will not be good the next time. And theres a good chance we're going to be "sold out" of any bottle of wine over thirty dollars.
