Uplift and maintain christianity?

my bf and i are 2 different religions, he is catholic and I'm christian. he got saved at my church in april of this year at my church. i was very happy for him. he had a positive outlook on life and everything. shortly after he lost his job and has been very depressed, well at least i would call it that. last night he came to my church and i saw the he was praying and really into it. well the speaker for the night prayed for him and he said he felt better . my question is how do i uplift and maintain his and my salvation if we have fell so many times in the past?we have bee together for 2yrs and 8months. and we are tempted to do things, like fornicate. we fall most of the time. but i really wanna change that. i curse a lot and i really don't wanna. i dunno i just need some help in the maintaining and uplifting department all around.
