Kwajalein Missile Range/Reagan Test Site - purpose?

Does anyone know if this is a secret testing site for the SDI (Strategic Defence Initiative)? Are there other testing programs happening there? Is it true that exotic weapons are stored there? On google earth I can see bunkers and such on the main island.
