Teachers and student ?

Are there any people on here that are teachers at a college that have had with students that you were currently teacher or had taught in the past. If so, how was it? Not the actual , but dealing with the relationship. Was there quid pro quo. If you are not a teacher but have been the student you can also post and if you know somebody who has been in these situations.
