Medical marijuana and ulcerative colitis?

Alright my fellow UCers, the question I am asking is whether you have tried medical marijuana for your UC and/or are currently using it. How does it help with the pain/cramping? Seeing that most of us cannot take most narcotics for the pain, would you suggest it?
