Can a tail hour at a wedding have a theme, as well as the reception?

Ok, I'm not getting married anytime soon, but like every other woman, I dream of the day I get married...lol, any way, I was watching the show "My Fair Wedding" and all of the weddings had themes. I know one day when I do get married, I definitely want a theme wedding. I am very into anything vintage...and I am also into a lot of modern things as well and New York City is my favorite place in the world.So,I was thinking recently,when I get married, if the tail hour had a theme of Old NYC Club, playing my favorite singers like Frank Sinatra,Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and then the reception having a modern NYC club theme, with the DJ playing newer dance music. and of course both would be decorated accordingly. I know it seems completely crazy, considering I'm not getting married, but I was just curious if people would think its tacky or not. Thank you.
